After months of "figuring things out," it became clear that only a very small portion of the ABCP market was connected to the U.S. subprime mortgage market. What now? Unfreezing a frozen market is not as easy as one might think. The only problem is that some of these ABCP notes have long maturity dates, some up to nine years; yet, many investors don't have that long. RIO DE JANEIRO, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Argentine midfielder Walter Montillo is set to join Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng from Brazil's Santos, according to local media reports.
Both clubs ended weeks of talks by agreeing in principle to a 7.5 million-euro transfer fee, Lancenet reported.
An official announcement is expected to be made later this week.
Santos own 50% of Montillo's economic rights, with the remainder held by sports investment groups.
