After losing the championship against Ateneo de Manila University on Sunday, Ben Mbala sent a strong message to other universities as he hinted his return to the De La Salle University Green Archers in the UAAP Season 81.
The two-time UAAP MVP revealed he still has one playing year left and he just needed to talk to La Salle for possibly another season with the Green Archers who are aiming to bounce back from their loss.

Also receiving a special award was his teammate, Ricci Rivero, who was named the Appeton Most Improved Player. He received a check worth P100,000.Ateneo's Matt Nieto got a cash prize of P50,000 for being named the Manulife 110% Heart and Hustle Player of the Season.
Also receiving a special award were the UP Fighting Maroons, as Milo hailed them with the Up Your Galing Performance Award. The team received a P50,000 prize that was received by team captain Andrew Harris.
