For the past 40 years of warring, I've been chaussures nike pas cher involved with basketball of hospitality attire way or another. First for a mighty mite player, to be a 10-year-old. And progressing from the ranks, as a gamer, coach, referee and spectator.
Being nike air max homme 2017 a youngster, there were only a couple manufacturers of sneakers that is certainly worn for basketball. The 2 main manufacturers were PF Flyers along with Chuck Taylor Converse. In case you were really a gamer, you bought the Chuck Taylor Converse. Or Chucks as we utilized to call them. And there was only two colors. Ebony or white. And 2 styles. High tops as well as low cut.
If you undoubtedly converse femme noir wanted to get elegant, you took the white laces out of your shoes and replaced them with different colored laces to check your school colors. So your parents been for a while paying $9. 99 for sneakers(plus $1 for that laces). In the overdue 1970's, there weren't any shops specializing in sneakers and footwear. We bought our sneakers at the local Army Navy Shop.
I'm not suggesting that we settle new balance 574 homme for those days. But I believe that it is absolutely outrageous that mum and dad are paying $100 - $200 to the latest sneaker. Sneakers endorsed with the great NBA players like Kobe Bryant, Alan Iverson, Tracy McGrady, etc. With foreign suppliers headquarted around Asian countries, the raw cost(labor & material) to create those sneakers is probably not much different today than whenever they manufactured Converse back while in the seventies. So how do workout shoes sell for $100 or over? The answer - it's all from the marketing and endorsement costs. Just pure greed.
Now with Stephon Marbury coming out with his new sneakers that has all changed. The star guard for the New York Knicks has designed and it is marketing the Starbury You. Guess what the price for the sneakers are? $14. 98. That's right...2 cents less in comparison with $15. 00. And Stephon is going to be wearing his own trainers while playing this forthcoming season. I think that may be awesome. I know the majority are applauding Stephon for the efforts. Already the sneaker have been flying off the shelf. The Starbury One is definitely instant success. And hopefully many of the other players will stick to suit. Way to go Stephon. Your sneakers can be a slam dunk success. |
