Trade and business opportunities are tremendously important to Alaska, whose revenue relies heavily on resources. Walker pointed out that China is Alaska's biggest trading partner with seafood as its top export to the Asian giant.

HO CHI MINH CITY, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's exports to China in the first nine months of this year increased 16 percent, higher than 7 percent of last year's corresponding period, according to the Vietnamese government's latest report.
Local Saigon Economic Times online reported Friday, quoting figures from the government report as saying that exports to China accounted for 10.2 percent of the country's total exports during the nine-month period.
