KABUL Kevin Johnson Black Jersey , Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Qudsia, a medical student at Kabul University who had dreamed to become a doctor to serve her fellow Afghan citizens, was killed on Sunday along with two others, in a suicide bomb attack that was intended for Shukria Barakzai, a feisty member of the Afghan Parliament.

The other fatality was a taxi driver who happened to be in the area when the suicide bomber struck.

"Qudsia has left this world forever because of a terrorist attack but her memory would remain alive with her family, classmates and friends," said a friend.

Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, besides expressing sympathy with the families of the victims, has strongly condemned the attack.

Ashuqullah, an elderly citizen, said that Sunday's suicide attack in Kabul was not the first one and won't be the last. He said that Afghans, especially the ordinary people, would further suffer if the government fails to solve the insurgency.
