BEIJING Joe Montana Color Rush Jersey , Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The State Oceanic Administration (SOA) on Sunday criticized the governments of east China's Jiangsu Province and northeastern Liaoning Province for failing to supervise land reclamation and control pollution along its coast.
An SOA inspection team exposed a number of flaws concerning land reclamation in Jiangsu after an investigation in the province from August to September, said a SOA press release.
The province made slow progress in restoring environment along its coast, the statement said Black Richard Sherman Jersey , adding that it only finished restoring the environment along half of the 300-km targeted coastline required by the State Council.
The provincial government was also found to have violated state regulations by delegating the power of granting administrative approval for small land reclamation projects to the city government of Nantong, the statement said. Developers of 184 land reclamation projects had not obtained government approval before they started building their projects.
The province was also found failing to effectively protect nature reserves. The land contributed to more than 85 percent of pollutants in offshore waters along the Jiangsu coast, and the provincial government did not have a complete list of polluters.
The provincial government was told to submit a plan for rectification within 30 work days and report the progress within six months.
The SOA also demanded Liaoning Province rectify its problems concerning land reclamation.
Liaoning was also found poorly implementing laws and state policies and failing to effectively supervise land reclamation projects and control pollutants from being discharged into the sea.

The truth is that our memory works the way it is designed to work. But we don’t take the time to understand just how it works! You see, the key for improving your memory recall (also known as “remembering things”) is to move your memories from your short-term memory to your long-term memory (and to then remember those memories in great detail!)
However, in order to move your memories from your short-term memory to your long-term memory you must understand and apply the five pillars of memory. Pillar One – Association. Our memory recalls events or experiences when they are associated with something that is familiar to us. When you link something you want to remember with something that is familiar you will remember it. So start doing it! For example, if we say “Homer”, what pops into your mind? Homer Simpson? The author named Homer? Homer Hudson ice cream? Chances are that your memory started associating the word “Homer” with what is familiar to you straight away. That’s how memory works. Pretty powerful isn’t it?
Pillar Two – Imagery. Your memory recalls events or experiences as images and pictures. It’s like you have a camera in your head constantly taking snap shots. So if you want to remember some information draw an image or make a mental picture of what you want to remember (as opposed to just reading the information or writing it down). Images are far easier for your memory to recall so start using them as often as you can.
Pillar Three – Time. As you would expect Black Ahkello Witherspoon Jersey , your memories will weaken the more time passes by. For example, you can probably remember what you did yesterday but you will find it much harder to recall what you did on this day one year ago. If you allow time to pass by and don’t give your mind any reason to store a memory (by using association or imagery) it will just become a blur. Pillar Four – Repetition. This pillar is pretty self-explanatory. When you stop doing things or saying things or using things you forget them!
