I'm reaching out because I’m in a bit of a jam and could use some advice or recommendations. So here’s the situation: I recently bought a used car (it’s a 2016 Subaru WRX, if that matters!) and I’ve been wanting to give it a little personal touch. I’ve always been into customizing my vehicles, and I’ve been thinking of adding some vinyl accents, maybe to the hood, the sides, and definitely around the mirrors and trim. My car’s currently a pretty standard gray, but I’d love to give it some flair, maybe with some matte black or carbon fiber vinyl.
Here’s the thing though: I have absolutely no clue where to even begin when it comes to buying the vinyl. I don’t want to just go to a random place and end up with low-quality material. I’m sure you all know that car vinyl can get expensive, so I want to make sure I’m getting the right stuff for the best price. Plus, I don’t want to mess up the installation and ruin my car’s paint, which I’ve heard can be a risk if you don’t apply it properly.
I’ve been Googling around, and I found a few local places, but I’m a little skeptical about the quality of their vinyl. I did come across one online shop that seems pretty legit – vinylcutter.eu – but I’d love to hear if anyone here has experience with them or knows any other good shops around. The prices seem decent, and they have a variety of options, but I’m just not sure if the quality matches up.
I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts, recommendations, and advice! I want to make this a fun project, and I think some new vinyl could really change up the whole look of the car. Please, if you know of any trusted shops or have tips on installation or removing vinyl, I’d greatly appreciate it.
